![]() ![]() My biggest gripe (and this is with Enigmatica 2:Expert Skyblock, which includes ExtraCells2) is the lack of good support for fluid crafting. Not hard, but requires planning lest you need to rip up and entirely rebuild your controller to optimize. I have one main dense fiber trunk running out there with 32 channels, so now I need to figure out a way (answer: P2P tunnels) to get more channels where I need them. I already have a precision dropper/endoflame setup with crafting exporters for mana creation sucking up a few channels. It kinda forces you to plan your network out - for my Botania platform, for example, I want around 20-24 conversion monitors for petals, Ender pearls, diamonds, etc, and then I think I am going to set up a system to auto craft Livingwood and Livingrock, which will likely suck up at least 8 and maybe 16 channels for formation/annihilation planes (just an idea in my head so far, not sure if it will work). But you also have a ton of other options to assist you in automating things. RS may be a bit more powerful in SevTech with the extra additions. So I guess what I'm saying is, consider your options. That sat there with an external storage connector on it and it replenished on it's own as I burned through it making other machines/upgrades. So I just used RS to export things like redstone and Iron and let Mekanism craft a crate full of Enriched Alloy with it. However, for some of the parts (the various alloys, for example) I wanted to have a good stock on hand at all times. RS has exactly nothing to do with this process, other than to receive the end product. For example, I went pretty bonkers with Mekanism and built a crazy 5x Ore processer. Largely XNet and RFTools Crafters, but a smattering of Blood Magic Transfer Nodes and a good deal of just good old fashioned stock keeping. The vast majority of my auto crafting, however, was done through other mods. I set up a Reborn Storage Crafter for a few things, just because I had never played with it. Despite going the RS route, I mainly used it as a central terminal for access to all of my things. In either case, you're going to have to deal with the AE2 inscriber mechanic, as all of the parts for RS also have had their recipes changed to use it.īut consider this as well. With Reborn Storage adding a multiblock crafter for RS, auto crafting can actually be very fast depending on how you build it (add more CPUs). ![]() You can very cheaply make effectively infinite storage disks (quantum disks).
